It was a very long but fun day at Worlds of Fun.  It was a day of firsts.  Cory road his first ferris wheel, Julia rode her first roller coaster.  Cory loved the ferris wheel, Julia did NOT love the roller coaster.

It was a hot evening for baseball.  The Lyndon Cardinals gave it a good try but lost by 1 run.

Cory after practicing at home and found his power swing.  Now he just has to straighten it out.  He hit 2 fowl balls - one went really far!

Cory's back from Cap Wood.  he had a fantastic time and was sad that it was over.  He can't wait for next year!

And now he's ready to begin a week of fun.

Cory's baseball team beat Auburn last night (June 8th) 15 to 4.  It was a short game due to the mercy rule.  Cory went to bat once, walked and then ended up sliding home.  Not sure if I'll get the pants clean, but he had a great time.  The team is now 4 wins and 1 loss.

Cory's baseball team the Lyndon Cardinals beat Overbrook last night (June 1st) 10 to 3.  It was a long game and the team played well.  Cory went to bat twice, but struck out both times.  He said he was afraid of getting again, so we need to work on batting.  The next game is Thursday.
